Just a Hip hop enthusiast. I like sharing my opinion and hearing others'. I'm not your average "My music taste is better than yours" review blog. I don't know everything, but I have devoted my life to hip hop and feel like i can offer good insight for those hungry for dope emcees. I'll take EVERY request, whether I know them or not. and even if I'm not a fan, I promise to give every artist equal judgement. If you're an independent artist who wants me to give you feedback and promote your stuff, I'm also your guy! i have no ego, so if i miss up, tell me how ya feel and I'll try to improve on it. Please support. much love!
Remember when hip hop came together to start movements? Not petty trends and hashtags. But actual movements that changed politics and society. A day when hip hop (not underground, but mainstream hip hop on BET and MTV) said “hey, our community has a drug/gang violence/education problem. We have the power to change our people for the better if we unify.” And from that, we got the self destruction movement, western all stars’ “We are all in the same gang” movement, the H.E.A.L(HUMAN EDUCATION AGAINST LIES) which focused on not just blacks, but educating people of all races on the major epidemics and clearing misconceptions on things like AIDs, Drugs, racism, classism, and even feminism.. The thing i found even more amazing by this movement was the remarkable amount of strong, powerful, intelligent women. Grabbing the mic and spitting knowledge to the masses. Speaking about politics, not sexually objectifying or submitting to being called out of their name or disrespected. They were role models to the young women influenced by the music of their time. Rather than nicki minaj or Miley cyrus, they had artists like Queen Latifah, Ms Melodie(R.I.P.) Harmony, Mc Lyte, etc. these classic famcees. Are not only my #wcw by for every of every year. I wish we had more femcees like them today in the mainstream
